Burger was absolutely huge. Onion rings were great. Good service. Overall good time.

Ever wish you could go to an authentic Soda bar? Or maybe you'd been to one when you were growing up and miss the soda jerks? Well look no further than Rockin' Robin's.Rockin' Robin's is located in Historic Downtown Ripley, and is right on the river front. With a '50s vibe and pink Cadillac juke box, the feel of an old school soda shop is there. Sit at the bar and watch the staff work as you enjoy a classic served soda or maybe grab a booth and enjoy viewing all that this shop has in it. Feeling hungry? Don't worry, they offer many a choice in hot eats and cool sweets. This being a small shop though does have its draw backs. Limited seating and weekend rush is always something to consider when deciding to visit. Lucky enough though, you can order it to go. Out of a lot of flavors of ice cream. No whipped cream no lids. Mayne we came after a busy weekend but its sad to see an icecream parlor habe only a few flavors of icecream

It was an old-fashioned diner-- a fun place with a great view of the Ohio River. Sandwiches were fine; old-fashioned ice cream sodas were good, and the server was helpful.

I really like Robins. The Reuben sandwich is very good. Other than that I've just had lots of ice cream.

Love to stop here for a quick bite and/or ice cream. Really like the fifties theme of the restaurant. Great views of the Ohio River.

Really disappointed with the service, food and cleanliness. The potential for this restaurant is huge-fantastic building, awesome decor. Unfortunately it’s absolutely filthy, understaffed and less than mediocre food. We had a simple order. We waited so long between each person being served that nobody ate together. None of the orders were correct or as described on the menu. The prices are ridiculous considering all the above. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Food was good but your servers are horrible! Ordered a half order of cheese fries got a full order and charged for it but I didn't complain. However our server was rude, never asked if we wanted refills. My friends daughter's drink was spilled and the girl never asked if we wanted something else for her. I requested more ranch and never received it. The servers were more interested in gossip and apparently school work than taking care of the whole 3 tables in the restaurant.

Good burgers. Had a carryout so we could sit down by the river it was such a nice day for it but eating inside is also nice. I really like this place. It's a pretty far drive from my house but we'll worth it.

Greasy little diner. Fun decor. Full service phosphate soda bar. Not clean bathroom. You've got to try the marshmallow Coke.

I've been having sundaes and milkshakes and marshmallow cokes here since I was a kid. Great ice cream, the food's good too, and it's right along the Ohio River offering some great views. A great spot to make a stop if you're making your way along the Ohio River Scenic Byway. And seriously, try the Coke, it's better than anywhere else! (Make it a coke float if you're feeling fancy)

My daughter treated me to a wonderful experience. I had the Fats Domino burger with frys a vanilla Pepsi. Wow, it was absolutely wonderful. I loved the decor, and the service was great. Now I know where my Sunday lunch will be after church. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great meal and a step by to "the good old days.

Fun little ice cream soda shop and diner. Had a couple of their ice cream sundaes. They were very good. I was able to pick three ice cream scoop flavors and three sauces. Only thing missing was more topping options. Great location near main street and the river. Also interesting mix of locals and tourists.

Service was slow waited 30 minutes on a cup of coffee. Food was great.

I'm very disappointed that this place is so run down. The food is decent, but ordered an Elvis Club and got pretty much a hot ham & cheese. Was told that is how it's made. I excused it that time. Was recently there (I live out of town) and ordered same club. I questioned it and it was made correctly. With that said, the place is filthy, greasy and nothing has improved with the new owners. The restrooms are dirty. Everything is outdated and just looks plain dirty. I hate to think this place will potentially shut down if not cleaned up. I grew up with marshmellow cokes starting at the Bristol pharmacy. It's a shame, but I see it coming!!😣

Excellent place to stop for nostalgia buffs. Old time menu but some great sodas and shakes. Soda "jerks" actually are friendly not like some places where the server has an attitude about serving you. Great view of river

I have a lot of love for this little soda shoppe on the river front in Ripley. Growing up here and having so many friends work in this place throughout the years always made it a great stop after school or throughout the summer. In recent times though, Rockin' Robin's is hardly the quality place it once was. It's not completely a loss, but it is clearly struggling to maintain it's outdated equipment to keep their ice cream and refrigerated items in the best of condition.I will say, however, that it's redeemable. The time we last visited was actually in the middle of the night, after a night out with some friends at Brookies down on Main Street a couple blocks away. The crew here is trying to be flexible and work new angles for business. This is a really impressive gamble and I'm glad they decided to take it.

Used to live in Ripley when I was a kid. Went here a lot. Place was nice and clean back then. Went in to get a soda for old times sake. Had to use the restroom first. Went in to find it was a pigsty. Ended up leaving and getting nothing because of it. The door to the women's restroom was open. That one looked clean from what I saw. Guess since it's all women working there, the men's restroom is never cleaned. Unacceptable.

Great little spot to stop for a sandwich or banana split and watch the barges pass by. Always friendly service. Fun 50's decor. Makes a nice day trip loop from Cincinnati when paired with the ferry and visit to Augusta. Come on out and support this quaint spot in historic Ripley.

Busy very young girls working hard. Smells greasy because they have a fan cooling off the kitchen blowing the air into the sitting area. Don't they have a hood? Very sticky tables, my arms almost glued on them. I bet they use the same rags to clean the ice cream and everything else. Didn't order food but looks delicious

Walked in with 3 people working (which would have been fine) we were a party of 6 we weren't acknowledged or even looked at! 6 people came in after us and we're acknowledged and served! I do not recommend coming anywhere near this place if you have more than 2 people!

Waited over an hour for our food to come. Terrible customer service. When anyone leaves them a bad review on Facebook, the owner gets nasty with them instead of trying to correct the problem so they will return.

Fun, historical, friendly 50's & 60"s diner & soda shop. Great art, paraphanalia, photos. Highly recommend.

Food was decent, typical bar food. The restaurant however is filthy! The floor, floorboards, and walls are caked in grease and filth.

Great local spot to stop at. I ride my motorcycle through Ripley often and this is a great location to get a snack and stop for the views.

Every nice lunch very clean and very relaxing

We had a party of eleven and just ordered ice cream. Only two family members at a time received their order. This took so much time they were finished by the time the next two were served no one ate together. The restaurant was very neat, 50’s decor but not clean at all. The staff were very friendly but understaffed.

Wish i could have eaten here but they never came over to us and took our order. They didn't even say hello when we walked in.

The food is ok but they could probably make an effort to clean the place. Whatever you do, don't look up at the ceiling.... Or down at the floor.

Wow..... should have heeded the most recent reviews. Poor waitress was alone and had to make the food. You will wait a long time for less than mediocre food at a high price. Unfortunately, you will be disappointed. This place has potential but drastic changes are necessary.

Rockin Robin's had always been a fun place to go. Just love that ice cream.The shakes, chili cheese fries, and slaw are all very good. It's always a fav stop when in Ripley.

Fabulous 50s soda fountain and Shake place located along the banks of the Ohio river. If youre in the area stop in for a nostalgic 50s experience. The shakes are awesome.
